About the Author

Bonita Blakeman is a writer and spiritual storyteller whose journey of faith has led her down roads less traveled—pathways marked by both brokenness and beauty, all leading toward transformation.

Her life tells a raw yet redemptive story of learning to walk with God through unexpected encounters, weaving together moments of breakdown and breakthrough on the way to healing.

After years of serving in ministry as a worship pastor, missionary, and intercessor, she laid it all down to follow Him more deeply. In the process, she discovered her true identity in the One who created her, and learned that life in Yeshua is far more than she ever imagined possible.

She makes her home in Arizona, where the lights of her life are her family—her children, grandchildren, and greatgrands—along with her beloved tribe of friends. Bonita’s passions flow from creativity and from helping others discover their own unique sound—their voice—writing to awaken the hidden treasures within us all. Through her words, she hopes readers will encounter the beauty of God’s healing presence in their own stories.
